TopQuadrant Launches TopBraid EDG 8.0, Revolutionizing Knowledge Graph Management

This latest version simplifies knowledge graph (KG) creation and curation while enhancing scalability and stability through seamless integration with graph databases.

Simplified Knowledge Graph Curation

TopBraid EDG 8.0 features a built-in vector database, enabling semantic similarity across the KG. Users can align ontologies, perform entity resolution, and automate tagging of unstructured data without the need for extensive model training.

Seamless Integration with Graph Databases

EDG 8.0 enables live integration with any graph database, like GraphDB, Neptune or Wikidata, via a user-friendly wizard. Users can read and write both ontologies and instance data stored in the graph database directly from the EDG interface, supporting multiple remote triple store integrations.

Specialized Accelerators

TopQuadrant has developed two accelerators packaged within TopBraid EDG 8.0 to address specific industry needs. The Medical Term Management (MTM) accelerator assists life sciences companies in maintaining internal reference data sets aligned with third-party controlled vocabularies such as SNOMED,MedDRA, ICD, RxNorm, and many more. Additionally, the Policy Enforcement Accelerator focuses on ensuring policy compliance by mapping data assets to a business glossary and then map enterprise policies to the business terms in that glossary, streamlining data governance and policy alignment.
